SWAT Mobility wins Country Star of the Year at the ASEAN Business Awards 2020

We are proud to share that SWAT Mobility has been selected as the winner of the Country Star of the Year at the ASEAN Business Awards (ABA) 2020. The applications for this award category includes candidates from all over the region. Despite the tough competition alongside several outstanding competitors, we are thankful to be chosen as the final winner for Singapore in this category.

The ABA’s goal is to bring about meaningful recognition for ASEAN businesses that demonstrate solidarity and great ability to weather the impacts of the ongoing pandemic, while aiding the governments of ASEAN countries to overcome the situation. The ABA 2020 award system is divided into ten categories including Priority Integration Sectors, SMEs Excellence; Young Entrepreneurs, Woman Entrepreneurs; Family Business, Skills Development, Friends of ASEAN, Inclusive Business, Combating Covid-19 and Country Star of the Year.

This year’s ceremony was deemed a special one as businesses have not only been attempting to maintain continual business development and innovation, but also trying their best to tide over this COVID-19 pandemic.

The award ceremony was held on the 13th of November 2020 at the Hanoi Daewoo Hotel in Vietnam. This year’s ceremony was held in the form of a combination of live and online conferences, so that businesses unable to attend due to pandemic restrictions could still watch and interact. The Ceremony was held in conjunction with the 2020 ASEAN Business & Investment Summit.
