Both organisations signed a collaboration agreement in April 2024, focusing initially on the Hokuriku region. Their joint efforts aim to deploy AI-driven demand-responsive transportation systems and people traffic flow analysis, leveraging SWAT’s world-class routing algorithms to enhance public transportation efficiency and sustainability. Looking ahead, they plan to expand their collaboration nationwide, aiming to tackle broader issues related to public transportation and contribute to building a sustainable transportation infrastructure.
