SWAT Mobility is excited to share that our advanced routing algorithm technology and Demand Responsive Transport system, supporting Mitaka City's AI-demand transportation service, have been featured in the March issue of Journal of the Society of Automotive Engineers of Japan.
As maintaining regional public transportation becomes increasingly challenging, the article highlights the importance of co-creation over competition among transport agencies to strengthen transportation networks. AI-demand transportation plays a vital role in enhancing regional mobility, encouraging citizens to travel more, and contributing to the development of sustainable and vibrant communities. Central to this effort is SWAT Mobility’s routing algorithm — the core technology enabling real-time route optimisation based on passenger demand, improving efficiency and service reliability.
We are also delighted that our General Manager of SWAT Mobility Japan, Masashi Suehiro, co-authored the article, offering insights into the technology’s implementation and its role in boosting ridership.
The article is only available in Japanese. If you’d like to learn more about our technology and how it can benefit your business, please drop us an email at sales@swatmobility.com.
