What is the first thing you’d do after COVID-19 blows over?
With the COVID-19 and circuit breaker in place, I started keeping a journal of thoughts, ideas and activities that I started doing as I work-from-home. Post COVID-19, I will revisit what I have written and identify the things I will continue doing and the ideas I will start exploring.
What's your favourite part about your job?
The variety of roles I get to do daily in helping drive growth, develop our talent and improve our business operational efficiency.
Interestingly, these 3 areas are so intertwined in a start-up environment, and paying attention to all 3 areas concurrently helps accelerate our progression!
What were the last books you read?
“The 4-hour Work Week” by Timothy Ferriss and “DirectExpressions” by Namdrol Rinpoche
Are you a morning or night person?
Definitely a morning person, I love watching how the world wakes up!
What's the best career advice you have ever received?
The best career advice I have received, and which serves as a constant reminder to me is “Success is not about the amount of money you make, it is about the difference you make in people’s lives”.
What was your favourite subject when you were in school?
Biochemistry
What do you think is the best way to run a meeting?
Communicate clear meeting agenda upfront, focus on desired outcomes during meeting, immediate post-meeting communication of meeting summary follow-up, owners and timelines.
