Rene is the Founder & CEO of multiple companies exclusively focused on serving SaaS and ISV scale-ups. In addition, he is a board advisor to software scale-ups - frequently on behalf of investors- as well as a known speaker at various software events. Rene enjoys being hands-on involved in software companies facing challenging turnarounds or having growth plans, focusing in particular on Product, Technology, Marketing & Strategy.

Rene has over 25 years of experience in Software and Data, has run teams from 5 to 2,500 people, has managed over 100 acquisitions from $5M to $500M. He brings SWAT Mobility valuable insights and expertise in startups, strategy, business development, product management, cloud computing, AI and ML. Known for his ability to streamline operations, drive product innovation, and implement strategic plans, Rene excels in transforming business processes and enhancing organizational efficiency

As founder of ISVWorld, the largest AI data platform of independent software vendors profiles and software industry data, Rene has lead on data-driven strategy projects for some of the largest Tech, PE and consulting firms globally. 

Before founding ISVWorld, Rene held positions at Microsoft in Asia and the US, and was involved in the Open Systems Movement at OSF, later merging into The Open Group. At Wolters Kluwer Europe, he led product development and M&A efforts, further enhancing his industry knowledge and leadership skills.
